Storyboarding

Storyboarding

Many online learning initiatives (i.e. courses, workshops, tutorials etc.) revert to simple textual instructions and little interaction leaving the participant to feel isolated and reliant on their own efforts and wit to move through the program. While skills-based instruction needs to consider cognitive levels from Bloom’s Taxonomy, we use Kolb’s Experiential Model extensively to allow opportunities to stop-digest-and try information. This involves structuring the information path from general overview, trying out action, and getting more information as learners play with the concepts and learn more while doing.

See an example storyboard for an overview lesson.
