How I created it: First I created a map of the steps that participants generally take. Depending on which step of the participant onboarding process, our LMS site will take over: then mapped out what happens when signing up a new participant, while we’re working with them, or after we wrap up an engagement. Having this written outline gives us a starting point for what to include and how we might be able to convert some of the steps into automated workflows inside our LMS area. The best way to describe it is as a client dashboard. It can be used to facilitate the process of onboarding a new client. We also use it as a way to stay in touch with a participant and offer additional training or resources.
